An exercise session rather than a tennis class, though it does involve racquets and balls. Classes are done to music and require no previous tennis experience. All of our classes are outdoors.
Incorporates mindful breathing, stretching and strength poses to improve flexibility and bodily alignment. Hugely beneficial for mental health, yoga translates roughly as “union” – of body, mind and spirit. Classes indoors, occasionally outdoors. Features a combination of cardio and strength based exercises – utilises body-weight, hand-weights, medicine balls, stretch mats, stretch bands etc. Classes indoors, occasionally outdoors.
Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. It includes shadow boxing and body weight resistance training and functional movements incorporating fitness / strength and boxing into one session .
This is a social group as much as an exercise session, family and friends are welcome.
